When AI goes Wrong

AI is artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT and several others. It can go very wrong at times. AI learns by prowling the internet. It is not confined to any one site and it acquires language on unsuitable sites.
AI can be racist and post racist remarks that are entirely inappropriate. It also says things that are reprehensible such as Hitler is good.
AI is often anti-women. It sometimes rejects resumes submitted by women causing them to lose jobs.
Facial recognition has caused innocent people to be arrested for crimes. and to be rejected for jobs and housing. It can ruin lives.
There is a test that detects AI-written material. The test is sometimes wrong and identifies original content as AI-generated. That is bad news for people who write a lot.
In a different article, I read that a bot accused someone of assault.
AI can be easy and fun to use but we need to acknowledge that it learns the whole human adventure and some of it is dangerous. and try to use it responsibly.
What experiences have you had using AI? Were they good or did they lead you wrong?

I have not used it except for grammar/spell check and things like that. I used chatbots online trying to find a solution to problems and getting nowhere. I never loaded ChatGPT or anything like that. The more I hear about it, the more I don't like it.

Most of the times where I have seen AI at work was at the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital operating on a patient with the supervision of human doctors. It looked okay.

@akalinus That is a good question since I was just passing by inside the hospital to take a stress test when the doctor who supervised the surgery simply said that AI is the future of surgery since the patient looked like a simulation and not a real person.

@Deepizzaguy Wow, I don't know what to think. I have heard that robots can perform operations that are not possible with a human surgeon. Just wow!

I won't use AI. I prefer to do my own writing.

ChatGPT seems to be quite popular nowadays but I have not really checked it out. I am dependent on my phone for most of my transactions, like shopping, banking transactions, selling my products, etc. So far, I have not encountered any serious issues.
I love interacting with Siri on my phone sometimes and I just normally command Siri to set my schedule, make a call, set the alarm, search for places, etc.

@akalinus It's fun talking to Siri. You can even throw a joke and she would respond.
