A 27 male year old hiker who was in the company of his pet male dog were hiking in Loudon Heights Trail in Harper's Ferry West Viginia on Sunday night when the couple were trapped near a cliff that is over Shenandoah River. The name of the hiker was not mentioned probably used his cellphone to request for help to be rescued. by a Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper which is based in Frederick Maryland who was able to rescue the couple. A rescue basket was used by the helicopter rescue team to save the couple and take them to the U S Customs and Border Protection Advanced Training Facility where an ambulance crew evaluated the hiker. A friend of the hiker then came to pick up the hiker and his dog named Angel. Thank goodness that law enforcement officials were able to rescue the couple who needed their help. That is true since dog names are powerful in cases of being the guardian to their owners.

I know I would be scared if I was trapped in a cliff myself.

A helicopter rescue, that would have cost a lot. It is good so far, in most countries, that these rescues are still performed for free, and that the one rescued is not charged for the rescue. It is mostly the same here, unless, you need an ambulance. If you are not a paid-up member of the Ambulance service, it costs you an arm and a leg, for their service. I was not a member once, when I was bashed senseless by thugs, in my shop. Somebody sent for the ambulance, who turned up to take me to the hospital, but I was not a member, so I turned them away. A friend ended up driving me to the hospital instead. I am a member now, it is well worth it, I think now.

I'm so glad the hiker and his dog were rescued. Apropos that the dog was named Angel.
