Malda and Murshidabad in Bengal are famous for producing varieties of mangoes. Himsagar and Langra are two varieties of mangoes which are grown in abundance. It is really a great experience to visit the mango orchards during summer. They are ripe and fit for sale in the market.

@sathviksouvik It's hot here too, the temperature here to is 41°C and our AC in the bedroom is not working we have to survive in the cooler.

@sathviksouvik Hmm... I would have sworn I watched a YT video of an Indian growing and harvesting mangos from a potted tree. But I could be misremembering that.

thanks DE I dont have space. In my balcony I have grown only gandharaj lime plants and chilli plants. Mango trees require vast soil to stretch their roots

@sathviksouvik yes, other than the fruits they give us, they can be a good shade when the sun is up
