17 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I stowed my pride and did the smart thing.
I'm thankful I used my walker today instead of trying to limp my way through the day. It was so much easier using the walker. I'll be happy when the weather straightens out and I can get around with ease.
I'm thankful I went to the store this morning after my nap. I got what I needed to get the strawberry shortcake made for my son's birthday tomorrow.
I'm thankful for my nap. It was a good hour.
I'm thankful for the time I could spend with you today. It wasn't long, but I was able to visit with you in your world.
I'm thankful for the potluck tonight. I'm hoping I'm not having a reaction to one of the casseroles that I found out had chicken in it after I started to eat it. My stomach is a little upset, but it could be worse, so I'm grateful and thankful it isn't worse.
I'm thankful for the rain we got yesterday before it turned to snow. We need the rain so badly as we're in danger of wildfires with as dry as it's been.
I'm thankful for the Christian music I listened to today while I worked here. I've heard some songs I never heard before and really love them. I needed a music day today.
I'm thankful for my Lord who helps me throughout the day, especially with my writing and He lets me know He loves me with little blessings and getting all my steps. I have over 12K steps. Praise the Lord!

I love listening to Christian music on my Alexa. Some of those songs really touch my heart.
Glad you were able to get all the stuff you needed for your strawberry short cake. I haven't had that in ages.
Good for you using your walker and not trying to hobble around. Hope you get back to moving around easier. I know this weather has really been causing my knees to act up.

Yes, it's so calming and uplifting.
I took him the strawberries and angel food cake and whipped topping today. He didn't want it when I brought it, but I expect he'll have it for dinner.
Today was so much better. No walker was needed. We'll see about the rest of the week as we're getting more rain the rest of the week.
I'm sorry your knees were acting up too.

Happy Birthday to your son. I'm thankful that my tights finally from China. I tried them on today and they fit. I might buy some black ones in the future. I'm also thankful that I worked on my paint by number. I'm also thankful that my mother painted my bathroom. She still needs to do the trim. It looks so much nicer in there.

Thank you. I'm glad your tights arrived from China.
I used to paint by number when I was a kid. I liked it a lot. Then I couldn't find any kits, so I haven't done any in years. I'm glad you enjoy it.
It's good your mother painted your bathroom.
