Want to do wedding photo album

When we were booking photo/video people for our wedding we wrote down in the contract that we wanted a photo album for us and for our parents. Our album would cost $1200 and our parents’ albums would be $600 each. That was not an upfront payment. It was gonna be done after the wedding. We never ended up doing the albums. I couldn’t settle on which 85 photos to choose and I also didn’t want to spend that much money on the albums. And photo/video people didn’t contact us so we get it done. Now I regret it. I want to have an album of wedding photos. A professional one. Wonder where I can do one without spending a lot of money. Don’t want to spend thousands.

I see Sandra had a good suggestion Lena. I am not sure about this one or what to suggest to you. Yes I wish you had gotten those albums.

Maybe I can just look at Shutterfly and see what they offer.

What I don’t like is that the photo video people never gave us pictures on a CD or a flash drive or anything like that. I had to go to a link they sent me and after logging in download those pictures to my laptop computer. If something happens to my laptop computer then those pictures will be gone. Unless I still have the email with the link and login still works. There are over 800 pics I think.

@RebeccasFarm Can anyone access those photos besides me? I don’t want that to happen.

You could create your own if you wanted to. There are at least a few sites where they walk you through it.

Sounds like robbery to me. If you have the photos, themselves, there are places that will put them in an album for you.

Our photo album was going to be done in such a way where some pictures blend into other pictures. Guess that’s why so pricey. But either way it’s very expensive.

I had to go to a website photo people sent me link for and log in to access my photos. They didn’t give us a cd with them or a flash drive or anything. I downloaded them to my laptop. No other backup.

You can do your own for much cheaper. Those costs are outrageous. Let us know how it goes with Shutterfly.

They were gonna do mine where photos blend into each other. If I said it correctly. If I do it myself using Shutterfly or something else I won’t be able to do that.
