Why do people remember you when they need something?

I am not whining about this. Before, I was very sensitive to this concern. Now, I am so immune when they do this. There is one time when a friend keeps asking about me. It sounds like he's trying to catch up with life and so on. As expected, he wants something from me and needs my help. I did not fall into his favor and turned him down. I do not want to be the victim of being used. I am done with people who are user-friendly. What's your call on this matter? Image Credit: i.pinimg.com

If a "friend" only comes around when I am of some use to him/her, then I'm not interested in helping them with whatever they need.

It is what I have learned from knowing these people for years. I got tired and don't need to be in contact with them anymore.

@Shavkat Yes, I agree... I get tired of people only asking for help and never offering help when it's needed.

It happens to all of us, fake friends who only show up when they need help.

You are so right. That is why I ignore these people when sending me private messages on Facebook. It is better to pretend that I did not see their messages than being used.

@Shavkat It is a lot better to pretend we missed the message.

Its not right, but when you need help from someone you don't talk to a lot, to is that considered using someone ¿?

It does not need to be used by a user-friendly person.

sometimes it's great to be able to help friends but it sucks when they only come when they need help and sometimes people like that just want to take advantage of us

The feeling is good when helping others. If they tend to be abusive to our golden hearts, it is best to turn them down.

"User-friendly+, I like that term. It's good that you turned him down or he'll do it again. One can sense true friendships or fake ones.

I need to because he tends to abusive with my kindness. He cannot even say thank you for helping him before.

Same here. I go all out to help even though I know they have contacted me only for a favour

Sometimes we cannot control this. They tend to be persistent. Before things will fall into this kind of situation, I would excuse myself and ignore the favours.

I agree. We need to stay away from them. If they are our relatives, we can politely say no.
