Back to making smoothies - dragonfruit, mango and a touch of banana!

Fruit smoothie

I hadn't made smoothies on the nutribullet for a few weeks. A little laziness, some travel and putting off visiting the fruits shop were some ot the reasons. Anyway, I cut some dragonfruit, mangoes and a little banana and ripped them through the nutribullet with sugar and milk. I decided to make it thick and it turned out great. The black spots and the dragonfruit seeds and the subtle yellow color is due to the mango. It's not yet mango season, but I'm going we get some better ones soon. It tasted great - each of the fruit flavours came through well and it felt healthy!

This drink is like a meal. I prefer to eat fruits than to have smoothies.

I do both - usually eat half and make a smoothie with whatever is left.

@pitstop I like to chew and to keep the fruits separated.

Yes, it looks delicious and nutritious. I will make my own mango shake too later. Mangoes are in season now, so they are cheaper in the market. With milk and sugar, I'm sure the shake will taste good.

I like making smoothies or shakes. Sometimes I add yogurt. Its another good way to enjoy your fruit especially in the summer heat it can be refreshing.

I think I'll try this but my mom always says fruits are better eaten than drank as juice cause the smoothie is not digested as good as the raw fruits we eat. I think its because when we chew food it causes some digestive juices to be produced prehand so digestion is more efficient.

That would be a really nutritious drink. My friend has a nutribullet but I don't know if she still uses it.
