How I Met My Ex-Husband, Bruce

Years back, I had a best friend by the name of Diane. We had a lot of fun together, kept each other laughing about everything! While in high school, her family moved to Bay City, Michigan. This was tough, not being able to kid around in the hallways each day in school. Diane called and asked if I could drive to Bay City and visit for a weekend. Little did I realize, that she'd introduce me to Bruce, who eventually became my husband. When I first met Bruce, he was mourning and whining because he girlfriend Dinah had just dumped him. He talked incessantly about how upset he was about this incident. I had little hope of ever becoming his good friend. About a year later, Diane drove to East Tawas for a visit and brought Bruce and his brother Dave along. After this happened, Bruce and I soon became a boyfriend/girlfriend statistic. My senior year, Bruce bought me a pearl ring, which was one step from being engaged. We eventually did tie the knot and as a married couple, we had two lovely children together.
