A dog that has a unicorn head gets adopted by a loving family

These kinds of stories are wonderful for me to share here since I am learning that no one of us should a dog based on their breed.
Strawberry who is a female Pit Bull who is nicknamed "Unicorn" since she had a bump on top of her head due to injuries that Strawberry received when she was younger.
Strawberry who is two years of age was rescued by the La Belle Foundation in Los Angeles after Strawberry had spent time in a few animal shelters.
When the veterinarians determined that the bumps on top of her head were not life threatening, her image was seen online, Kristen Kuhlman who lives in south Pasadena California needed a dog to replace a pet she recently lost fell in love with Strawberry who came close to being put to sleep when Kristen and her family decided to adopt Strawberry as their new pet.
Strawberry was adopted from the animal shelter on Tuesday April 11, 2023. Strawberry has now found a new home with a loving family after nearly put to sleep at such a young age.

My pleasure to share these wonderful stories since Strawberry reminds me of my late Thunder (1988-1998) who was a mixed breed German Shepherd and Black Lab who came close to being put down since he was aggressive to males like myself.

I am in agreement with you since she was close to being put to sleep since there were not many persons willing to be adopt her based on her unicorn head.

That is true since maybe when Strawberry was younger she may suffered a bump to the top of her head by accident.
