Train coach position - a useful chart while travelling

There are two pieces of info that I look for when I reach the railway station to travel by train. One is the platform no. at which the train will leave from.
The second is the order of the coaches ok the train. Some trains stop just for a couple of minutes and being in the wrong position can make you run for the correct coach.
While there are electronic boards and also numbers at the platforms, there's always a manual board like this in my station. I wonder why they still do it the old fashioned way.
And even if you get into the wrong coach, they are all usually interconnected, so you can still (painfully) make your way to the right coach.

Interesting. I haven't been on a train for over 50 years.
