We have a whole lot of perennials that colour the garden and I have written about bougainvillea that are now in full bloom too Happy to see these heliconia, alamanda and the scented sprays all in one place truly brightening the garden. These flowers like the sunshine unlike those that have tubers such as dahlias. Dahlias just don't seem to do well here. I see lilies too. They should have bloomed in February. We also have a few periwinkles and a few other climbers, euphorbias in pots and a few anthuriums too. All in all our garden looks colourful. Welcome to Solitaire

I love bougainvillea. My sister had a huge one that grew up the side of her home, it was so pretty. My daughter in Florida has some as well. They do not grow where I live, or if I were to plant one, it would not be a perennial, it would die in the winter.

Bougainvillea love summer - hotter the better and since our temperature is pretty high these days, they are just flourishing. We have several colours.
