Just one piece of cake left. News about illegal immigration.

Good morning friends. I just went to the kitchen to bring something to eat while I mylotted and listened to the news. I discovered that there were only 2 pieces left of the chocolate cake. Now one of them is in my tummy and the other is in the fridge. I needed the cake. I´m watching the news of how illegal Venezuelan immigrants (that are in Chile) want to go back to their country but Peru won´t let them enter (no papers). Maduro on the other hand will not let Chile send them by air with an aircraft from the Chilean government. Immigrants wanted to come here by any way fleeing from the Venezuelan problems. But with the people that wanted work came violent people and drug dealers. And the Chilean population now won´t have them. On the other hand, the government takes a long time to check if an immigrant can stay and gives them papers to work. Meanwhile, there are children and old people involved This is happening with many immigrants but Venezuelans are a lot. We also have people from Colombia, Ecuador and Haiti. They were told that we were a land of bounty and they came. And with them, violence and drugs came along. I myself don´t dare go out alone for a walk in the middle of the day in my neighborhood. I don´t see any way out. And my heart goes to those people there. Still, I would not dare employ any of them in my house. It is too risky. I know that every country has problems like mine. And I don´t see a way out. The only ones that profit with this is the media. Some of the questions of the so called newspapers men are disgusting.

I know what you mean Marga. I am really sorry for all those people trying to reach Europe for North Africa, but I would not to employ one of them. I have heard too many bad things happening.

I used to live in a safe neighborhood. Now in these last 3 or 4 years I have been burglarized twice. And one of the burglars (when I was in the house) had an accent that could be Colombian or Venezuelan. And a Venezuelan cartel ins instaled in my country. Their weapons are a lot better than the ones the police has.

@LadyDuck My leg problems are partly because I have not walked since Leticia stopped coming during the pandemia.

@marguicha In Italy women do not dare to go out alone anymore. Those young illegal immigrant rape women and no matter the age.

Our Southern borders here are flooded with immigrants, as I am sure you know.

I know. Many countries have that problem. Every once un a while I hear about immigrant boats go down and people get drowned. There must be a reasonable way of helping.

This really is a very tough problem for any country in this situation. We are lucky really that, in Australia, people can't get in easily.

It's a shame that you can't walk in your own neighborhood. Things are going to h##l in a handbasket all around the world.

This happens to many countries. They flew their homes because of food, unemployment but mostly because of insecurity and war. Some countries are so observant in their boarders its not easy to enter
