Years Back, I Bought Kobe a Dog House

No matter how hard I tried, I could never get Kobe to go inside a doghouse. It could be downpouring rain and he still wouldn't ever go inside his doghouse!
The one I purchased was supposedly made out of a thermal material, to keep him dry, warm and comfortable. Did this really matter? Kobe wouldn't even walk through the doorway!
Finally, I gave up and just left the stupid dog house sitting on our back porch.
Jay finally built Kobe a nice backyard building, which my dog actually liked. So, the doghouse was stashed inside Kobe's building in storage.
I took the roof off his doghouse, probably because I wanted to clean it. After a few hours I looked outdoors and Kobe was running around the back yard, with that roof on his back!
Kobe had crawled beneath it, making that roof a fun toy to play with! Good grief, whatever floats his boat!

that is so cute. Kobe knew what he wanted. I never bought my Sid a cat bed because I knew he would find a box to sleep in anyway,3 people like this

I bought Kobe various comfortable dog pads, that he proceeded to tear into shreds! He would lay on it for maybe half a day, I'd be hopeful that Kobe had accepted it. The next day, it was destroyed!

That’s hilarious. I live in an apartment, but I got a dog house for my late dog, Annabelle. She liked to crawl into dark places sometimes, and she loved to get up high. So I put a dog house with a “roof deck” (complete with staircase) near the patio door she loved to stare out. She wanted nothing to do with it! I spent $75 on it, and eventually sold it for $20. Someone got a good deal on a dog house that had never even been outside. On the plus side, the $75 I spent on it had been earned through websites in which I participated. So it wasn’t directly out of my pocket.

When Kobe passed away, I sat his doghouse out by the road. Someone took it, which was my original reason for sitting it there.

The building Jay built Kobe was safe, big, insulated and it had a heating system. The doorway was curved through a tunnel, so the wind couldn't blow inside the flap door.

Yes, he looked like a white turtle, walking around the back yard!

Sounds like he was treating it like a new toy.

The bottom was stored inside his back building, off to one side.

For the first five years of his life, Kobe was constantly destroying things. If a limb fell in his yard, Kobe would chew it into pieces!

The first house Kobe had was a back building. I added a flap door to keep the rain out and Kobe chewed it off!
