Apple and Peanut Butter

I have to thank @Tina30219 for this snack idea. I've always eaten apples and peanut butter but never together. I've had apples with iodized salt. I've had peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Anyway, I've had apples and peanut butter and let me say, it is chef's kiss!!!
I've had it for lunch, snack, and dinner multiple times the past week. I had it earlier as a snack.
Are there any food combinations that surprised you?

Another alternative that Ido is peanut butter with pear slices or iodized slat with apple slices.

Apple and peanut butter is really a delicious combi. This may not be something surprising but I like a toast with peanut butter and bananas on it. Tastes good.

How did I miss this discussion, Allen?
As a kid, mom gave us apple slices with peanut butter smeared on them... I don't like peanut butter, so I got plain apple slices. I will eat peanut butter in candy, like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups but I don't want plain peanut butter. YUCK!
Mom also gave the other kids a banana with peanut butter smeared on it... I love bananas but don't put peanut butter on mine!1 person likes this
