Jay Watches The Masked Singer

I'm not crazy about the show, The Masked Singer. When it first came out, we
would watch it every week. Then, for about two years we couldn't get the channel
that it was televised on.
When we moved into this rental house, Jay had Cable Television connected again.
So, we get all kinds of programming that we hadn't seen for quite a while.
The Masked Singer is different now, I really don't care for it any more. Jay still enjoys watching this program, every Wednesday evening at 8:00P.
I just read a book or do something on the computer, instead of watching a program that I no longer like.

I never watched the show for the first four seasons. Then, I visited my sister, and I watched a few episodes with her. I got hooked! That being said, I have not seen any episodes this year although all of them have been recorded on my DVR.

@kobesbuddy I think the best they ever had was Leann Rimes. I always knew she was good, but when you couldn’t see her face, and had no expectations on who she was, her voice just stunned.

@AmbiePam When Sarah Palin was a masked performer, we were all shocked. She was the governor of Alaska for a while.

@kobesbuddy That's the best way to watch the show. I've never watched it. Looks like I'm not missing anything. A good book is always better.

Some of those programs are garbage, yet Jay enjoys them. While I enjoy reading a good book and wearing earplugs:)

I went through that with "The Voice." I actually thought first season was cool, not my style of music on 90 percent, but 20 percent became my style because of the unique voices and styles they brought. I go maybe this will be something different and ground breaking. Then next season, no we only bringing pop singers and pop country singers and making it about money and ratings as always. I can't stand how these shows continue to destroy true good authentic music. I hear you miss lady.

@kobesbuddy Yeah and yet all the songs are ones we all mostly know. Bring one on the fringe of being popular and bet you that show would be off the charts. People always want easy money though.

With the masked singer, there are so many theatrics! "Oh my gosh, this is the best we've ever heard on this show!" They say this about almost every singer:(

The first few programs I enjoyed this show. Then I got sick of it, there's too much drama involved.
