Odd Compliments

"You've got cute elbows", saw this around town the other day and broke out a laugh. What are the parameters for a cute elbow I wonder. True or not this compliment does elicit a smile.
We are so used to the usual compliments that strange compliments like these actually sound more sincere sometimes. Like when someone praise you for something non generic and truly specific to you. The best compliment I ever got from someone was, " I like how you work, you're so pragmatic". It is not very odd but it is different.
Have you received any odd or striking compliments that you are proud of?

Not recently that I can recall. I take what I do get when I get it. But, I've been told I'm strong (physically) when I wheel over touch slopes or something like that.

@flapiz A little, but when you're in a wheelchair, it just kind of comes naturally. Over time you get stronger the more you do it.

I have received some during my life. I remember during a summer, I was wearing a dress with my shoulder out and a gentleman told me "Madam, you have beautiful shoulders".
If you consider this a compliment, a Bank Manager told me "I did not know you are Italian, I would have never guessed, you are so precise and punctual".

The best compliments I have had have been ,decades ago, from very poorly educated people who worked on construction. It seemed that the less educated they were, the more witty.

@flapiz Some more educated people either don´t care what they say or don´t dare.

@marguicha It's more like they are too afraid to offend and think too much.

I think my favorite odd compliment came from someone who told me if they ever adopted a dog they’d want me to raise it for the first year because all of my dogs turned out so cool they were convinced it was because of my influence on them. That made me happy because I absolutely love my dogs, and I am happy to say I have gotten a lot of compliments on all of my dogs over the years.

@flapiz the one that jumps out at me is that I had extremely soft skin, maybe not that odd. Sorry.

I hope you've had a good day.
