Well, my mom should be getting her Mother's day gift today. I ordered it early, because I really wasn't sure how long it was going to take to ship and you never know with Amazon, they could raise the price before I got to send it, especially if it was in the Mother's Day section. I figured I should get it while the getting was good! I think she will like it. It is a decorative flower pot in one of her favorite colors. The only problem is it doesn't have a drainage hole. I am going to say she might want to use it for some fake flowers, or something that doesn't have to be watered often like a cactus. Do you prefer to buy and send gifts early and avoid the rush?

@snowy22315 Later is as you forgot and you hurried to send something.

I used to be an early buyer, but have transitioned to being a “right on time” buyer. Somehow, I always make it in time for the holiday.

Shops are never slow to raise their prices if there is a special event coming up. That sounds a lovely gift for your Mum. Perhaps she could put a plain pot inside it.
