Sugar or sugar free?

The latest trend is to go sugar free. I am not aware if those having diabetes go for sugar free or go for it as a precaution.
My blood sugar is always low and so I can consume sugar without guilt. And happily I do it because I have a sweet tooth.
The type of gummy candy you see in the image I had ordered for quite some time ago and enjoyed them. Jelly is good for the nails and hair as well and so why not ? Many of you know I like chocolates and I keep getting them from friends and family. Yesterday one of my friends turned up and within a year I got two boxes of Ferrero Rocher from her.
I gave her a good feed of mangoes which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Are you for sugar or sugar free goodies?

@AmbiePam We had some visitors one day and there was a huge bottle of coke in the fridge - left over of a party I never have coke myself but I opened that bottle for them and kept them company. I liked it so much I got one for myself. Luckily for me I landed with lung congestion and that made me give up drinking coke.

I can afford to go over board occasionally as I am a low sugar candidate.

I just try to eat it in moderation. I don't have diabetes and I'm very careful not to consume too much sugar.

Diabetes has so many food restrictions. Good you are not a diabetic and neither am I.

@allknowing diabetes is not something I want to have to deal with so I try my best to avoid eating a lot of sugar. It's hard sometimes because I have a sweet tooth and love cake, candy, cookies, etc.

Consuming a lot of sugar can lead to diabetes so I try not to consume too much but it’s tough. Pasta and breads I think breaks down to sugar and I love both. I use 3 healing tablespoons of sugar in my morning coffee and have been having two coffees a day. I was just going to make my second I’ll have to have tea instead where i use slightly less.

Those who are free from diabetes can have that in moderation.

Those with sugar free labels can be misleading. I avoid sugar as well as sugar free. Natural sugar in fruits is enough for me. At times I do treat myself with desserts made using dates or jaggery. And once in blue moon, I relish a small bite of chocolate.

Diabetics need to be as organised as you in that they should know at the end of the day how much of sugar they have consumed.

We also have such kind of candies here. I have a sweet tooth. But some of my family members are diabetes. So I have to be careful. I prefer dark chocolates which are not so sweet.
