Got in a short workout...

I tried the dropping my calories plan last week and some days I did okay but it was a struggle to just drop to 1800 calories. This week I am trying to still do that, but add in working out. I did 25 minutes today, and that was almost too hard. I have gotten so out of shape. Doesn't help that I gained so much in the past 6 months (over 40 pounds). Now tomorrow I probably won't work out because it will be laundry day. However I will try to do 30 minutes on Wednesday. Image is mine, an art piece I did. What do you think?

pretty art. I'm not working out this week because my period. I have some cramps today. I have been using ice packs for it. I will be doing a high intensity workout next week.

@JimBo452020 The one I was using has gel beads that made it stay cold. I put it in the fridge to get cold. That can be put in the microwave to get warm. That ice/warm pack does really stay where I want it to. Another ice pack I used doesn't have beads, but it stays cold because it being in the fridge.

All the bending and lifting for laundry still counts as exercises. So don't sell yourself so short. It'll get easier the more you do it.

It definitely is a workout for me with the 100 + pounds overweight body I am carrying around.

@kaylachan The hard part is actually getting it off. I don't think I could get it off if I wanted. Takes more than wanting to sadly....

I don't know that I would consider it a workout, usually sitting in between loads... Yeah I really didn't want to do it...and my weight is up like 2 pounds since yesterday now. Glad you like the bird...

@MommyOfEli2013 How often do you get on the scale? When I first started this weight loss journey, I weighed every week. Now I try to weigh every 2 weeks. I was afraid if I weighed myself every day when I started, it would depress me, so I didn't do that.

@RubyHawk I struggle just dropping 200 calories. To lose weight I need to drop probably 700 calories

I love the beautiful shades! Getting back on the weight loss train is tough, but you’re doing well even if it feels slow going. Why it is statistically easier for men to lose weight than women I will never understand. Or accept.

That's nice to hear, thank you. I have been trying all year and have struggled....I simply lack the motivation....and it's so much harder to move around at this weight. And I don't understand that either.

Glad you like the bird. I don't think I have even heard of that movie lol I could barely keep up with the workout for 25 minutes lol.
