The Physical Ed teacher always organizes this. It is usually a bunch of games. In the old days it was actual track and field type events but here at the elementary it is made up games of various sorts. They encourage team work and healthy fitness. Poor Mr. Graber (the teacher) has had to come up with a Plan A and a Plan B, in case of rain. We are fortunate to have the Sports and Aquatic Center across the road, so we will be able to use that facility in case of rain. That is the building where the swimming pool is, and an indoor walking track, wrestling facilities and courts for basketball and volleyball. We also shelter in the wrestling mat room in case of tornadoes. I have a few things to get done before school, so I will be back later. My student will have a "regular" morning, I believe, as the upper grades participate in the afternoon.
