Question-and-Answer Website: Addressing Plagiarism Challenge

Pakistan

I have been contemplating embarking on a new project for the past month. My vision is to create a user-driven website that functions as a simple question-and-answer platform, where users can receive rewards for providing helpful responses. However, I am aware of certain challenges that may arise, one of which is the issue of plagiarism. I am determined to prevent users from resorting to copying and pasting content from the internet in order to gain points and reach the payout limit. To this end, I am seeking suggestions from the community on how best to overcome this obstacle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As @DaddyEvil correctly stated, there are many programs available that do plagiarism check. There are also programs to detect articles written using ChatGPT.

Even chatgpt can be used in such a manner that it will not be detectable for certain programs to determine whether the content is rewritten or genuine. But chatgpt created content is usually unique so it should be okay for the website.

@zainkhan121 ChatGPT can be detected, its content has some repetitive patters that several checkers can detect.

@LadyDuck I agree with you. I've utilized ChatGPT for some of my projects and found it to be quite helpful. However, it's unfortunate that some people tend to abuse such resources more than anything else.

There are programs available that do plagiarism checks. But there are also programs out that will spin the plagiarized material so it doesn't appear to be copy/paste. And what about content created by AI?

My favorite Q&A website was Quora, but then it became more like Instagram with people following the most handsome popular ones. I wish there was no such thing there.
