Nothing on TV. I did a couple of surveys.

Good morning friends. It always amazes me how is it that nothing happens (as news goes) during the weekend. I have the idea that even wars stop so that the soldiers can get a warm cup of coffee. But no. Rather it is that the poor soldiers are fighting and dying and the media people are in awesome parties with delicious food and good drinks. Sometimes I read about the money that the people who work of TV earn. It is shocking! Why would they want to live in such big houses? What do they do there? Then, after my iddle thoughts I come back to my normal life. And I´m happy to earn some cents with surveys. Today I earn a tiny bit by answering a few things about my government. I wonder who cares about that. Now I´m ready for breakfast and mylotting.

I have watched 2 good but terrible movies lately. One was "The father" with Anthony Hopkins. He plays a very old man with demencia. Then I watched "Jazzman´s blues", a heartbreaking movie about a forbidden love between a light skinned Black girl and a black boy who sang jazz. All that happens in Georgia almost a century ago.

Some news people are like that; and some are really dedicated. I hope you are having a good weekend.

I agree. But most of them just want a name.

I am always shocked at just how much money professional ball players make. Another profession is the mega preachers with the mega churches. They make millions. Live in huge mansions and own multiple vehicles, or airplanes, or whatever. The preacher one is what really gets me. If they truly believe what they preach, generosity, humility, etc. they wouldn't be running a mega church begging for funds and living such a high life.

When my husband was a pro soccer player they did not earn much. That was before the TV. Commercials during plays pay for all that. Now the players T shirts are full of stuff that sells. It wasn´t like that before.

@marguicha Yes. everyone seems to be selling or promoting something. They use facebook, Instagram, TikTok, youtube...and there is a take-off now popular with these people selling their ''merchandise''--now they say, ''check out my new merch!'' and it gets old. I have no desire to purchase ''merch'' at all. '

@MarieCoyle It seems that too many people want to buy too many things.

In the media here they try to portray the media as noble, and willing to put their lives at risk for a story. I suppose some do, but I highly doubt the majority of them would.

A couple of them do, but not all because they are noble but because they love the adrenaline that comes with risk.

Some media reporters often find sensational stories and sell them for hundreds of dollars to make headlines. The more controversial it is, the higher the price. And sometimes they sensationalize a news item to draw viewers in. I know because my family has been a victim of false reporting, which I don't want to recall anymore. Happy MyLotting.

Some people who live in those huge houses do not clean them themselves. They would not even know where to begin.

I´d feel lonely in a very big house.
