Good afternoon from this side of the planet
. It's 3:05 PM here and I would mylot for a while before I go for my afternoon nap in a while. I need that nap as I have been working since the morning. Well, the house was neglected for the last few days due to me shuffling between hospital and home. Yesterday, I chose to stay home and catch up with the sleep that I could not in the last few days. Today I visited the hospital in the early morning hours and handed them food for lunch and dinner. I was back home by 12. And I had a brunch then. Toast, two eggs omelette and the salad that you see in the picture. A few small pieces of raw mango that I added there for tangy flavour worked out really well in the salad
I finished two loads of laundry pending from the last few days. They are dried( it is hot sunny outside) and I have kept them on chair to be folded and ironed later.
My cooking is done for the day.
. Even dinner is ready. I cleaned two shelves in the pantry cupboard while arranging the groceries. They were on the dining table since the last two days.
My throat is still troubling me but glad that it has not got worse. I am sipping hot water with lemon juice and ginger tea or Tulsi( basil) tea. Hope to feel better in a day or two.
Husband felt a lot better today and he has gone to office. He had an important meeting at work to attend physically and he did not want to miss. Packed him some ginger and basil tea in his vacuum flask to sooth his throat. Younger daughter is all well but a little low on energy. Hopefully, she will gain it in a day or two as her new academic year begins on this Wednesday. She is excited for that
I have also done Forum Coin before coming here. So, overall a pretty productive day
Have a good time in your myLot corner

Yes, we had a few stressful days. One of my relatives was critical and in ICU. I had made a post about the same yesterday. I was badly caught up and now I have to catch up with a lot of pending work.
He is out of ICU but still in close observation. We pray that he recovers soon and comes back home.

@arunima25 I'm sorry he was critical and in the ICU. I'm glad he's no longer in the ICU and hope he comes home soon.

@just4him Thank you for your concern.. Today I had a small chat with him when I visited the hospital. He looks pretty weak and might need some time to recover. Glad that he is showing positive improvements..they should discharge him in a couple of days.
. I met the family too today. They seemed a bit relaxed. He complained of slight pain in his stomach but it seems that it's a normal thing and nothing to worry about. It should go away with painkillers in a few days.

It was very nice of you to take food to the hospital for them. I hope they appreciate everything you're doing to help them.
I'm glad you managed to sleep for a while.
I hope you enjoy your day.

I am trying to help as much as I can. They badly need some help. They are not doing too good financially and are in a government hospital. They do provide food for the patient, but buying three meals each day for attendant would be a costly affair for them. I have given her some home made snacks too that can stay long and she can munch on in case I am not coming.
Hope he recovers soon.. today morning he again complained about severa pain. I will call the wife in some time to get the updates. Hope all is fine.
It's 6:30 evening here. I will move onto few more chores after some time here.

@DaddyEvil They are going to discharge them tomorrow on Thursday. He still needs a lot of care to recover but doctors feel that home would be better for that. Hospital has more chances of infection.

Good. Forum Coin takes less time than any site. It's easier to make 10_14 posts there and get done. I love the site

Thank you Carol. They really needed help and I am more than happy to help any one in genuine need. One never knows when one will be at receiving end of the help. I believe in Karma. And I have got help from people at times and they were people that were not close to me and I had not expected such kind of help.
My husband and daughter are almost all okay.
And the home remedies have worked for my bad throat too
.
Thank you for your concern
.
Have a good day

A productive day, indeed. You have organized your chore so well, and you're done before you knew it.
Ginger tea is a good cure for me too when I have a sore throat. It's good you're done with your laundry, mine is still in one corner, I know I have to do it now before it gets too many.

I am glad that at least I got a few ones done. It feels good. I have lot more to catch. Ignoring a house for few days can pile up a lot of chores. I hope to get some more sorted out tomorrow.
You should get your laundry before it gets too piled up. I need to change the bedsheets and wash them. I couldn't do that on weekend. I will do it tomorrow or day after.

your food looks too delicious. In addition to the salads you added kabuli chana I suppose

I add boiled chickpeas ( kabuli chana) or kala chana to my salads just to add a bit of healthy protein. Some times I add some roasted paneer also or sprouts.
