Every season is liked for a short time.

Whenever there is spring in Calcutta in March, people used to say summer is better as fruits like mangoes and jackfruits come in this session. Now it is summer. People are fed up with heat and sweat and looking for the rains. When the rains continue in July August and September people will look for Autumn season. It is human nature that one season is not liked after it continues for more than 2 months.

As many say: "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." Humans can never be satisfied. We continue to wish for something we don't have. Then once we have it, we wish we have another instead. Nevertheless, for me, I always disliked summer so when the cold season is here I'm always happy.

thanks Jenaisle in Calcutta also everyone likes winter. The reason is that the winter lasts for only 2 months December and January.But the summer lasts for 4 months march april may june

@sathviksouvik Right, it's almost the same here. Summer starts in late February and then up to August. The cold months start in September up to early February.

This is so true. We long for summer to be over but then once winter arrives, we start wishing for summer again.

@JudyEv Yes it's kind of cyclical. So summer memories come rushing to us during Winters and vice-versa.

Yes extremes of any weather or any kind of weather lasting for even 2 months and even 1.5 months of Winters is testing enough for us !! Sometimes during winters people could be seen resisting the cold winds and lack of sunshine.

Where l live there are only mild changes in the seasons. Like summer is a bit hotter and December to February a bit cooler.

Yes, having too much of a good thing can be overwhelming. I guess that's the beauty of the different seasons. It breaks up the monotony.

This is true, you only get perfect weather 4 weeks out of the year. Winter is the season I complain about the most
