Ordered for two bottles of this spread. Dark chocolate is what I am on the look out for This spread is cheap and has good reviews. Peanut and dark chocolate seems a good combination going by the health benefits both these have Hell bent on getting rid of cramps and I am almost there. What are you doing to get rid of cramps if any?

I keep a jar of pickle juice (white vinegar, water, sugar and salt) made up in our fridge. If I start having muscle cramps, I drink a large swallow of the juice and the cramp immediately stops. You can also drink pickle juice from a jar of dill pickles, too. The recipe is 1 cup water, 1 cup white vinegar, 2 tablespoons salt and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Mix well. Keep it in a sealed jar or bottle in the fridge. It keeps indefinitely.

Thanks for the recipe but this spread can be relished and it helps with cramps too. I can have it with bread at breakfast time.

So it works immediately? Because of the amount of sugar and salt l would hope not to have to use it often.

Muscle cramps can be due to a lack of calcium or essential electrolytes, so I usually ate oranges and fruits. And I always drink one to two glasses of milk every day. My muscle cramps subsided. I avoid legumes, including peanuts, because they exacerbate my gouty arthritis. I don't feel the pain unless I eat many legumes in a day.

@allknowing and calcium and other electrolytes too, especially for muscle cramps. " One way to stop cramps is to stretch or massage your muscles and to eat enough of these key nutrients: potassium, sodium, calcium, and magnesium. They’re called electrolytes, and you can find them in the following foods."

@Jenaisle One may have lack of certain electrolytes but not all. In my case it is magnesium.

Cramps are mainly due to lack of magnesium and both dark chocolate and peanuts have it

Bananas are good for cramps because of the potassium.

@allknowing You probably know this, but bananas have a lot of sugar. So, be careful. I know they're good though.

@Fleura Cramps while swimming are common. Muscle cramps while in bed are also common. They are also called Charley Horse.

@allknowing Reading the comments they seem to be a common problem, I had never heard of anyone suffering cramps except the sort that suddenly affect swimmers, for example.

Fortunately, I don't have cramps that frequent. It happens just once in awhile, and don't last too long. I hope the dark chocolate peanut spread gives a good effect to get rid of your cramps.
