How's your day shaping up?

We have a mixture of Italian, Mexican, Indian, and all international cuisines but American dishes are the most popular, but Korean dishes are now becoming popular.

@Jenaisle Oh. I wouldn't have guessed that about American dishes.

@AmbiePam Yes, in fact, it was America that gave us our independence on June 12, since then, we were greatly influenced by the American style of democracy, food, education, etc. The Americans established some of the 1st public schools in the country. Breakfasts in hotels are American dishes dominated, such as eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, etc. We also have American dishes in many of our daily snacks and meals. We were colonized by Spain from 1565-1898, more than 30 years, and that's where we got Catholicism and most of the religious practices that we are practicing up to now. But Spain's influence on education has been slowly receding after America has taken over the country. We still cooked Spanish dishes during Christmas and even every day, that's why some of our dishes are Spanish-named. like Caldereta, Arroz caldo, Afritada, Brazo de Mercedes, etc. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants here, so Chinese food is also a popular option.

We did, it was full but we were all served and the food was tasty, just as I expected. I wanted to eat more but my stomach couldn't take it any longer.

@Jenaisle Every time I have been to a Korean restaurant I have enjoyed the food.

Indeed, we went to eat there and the food was delicious. I was able to eat the Korean fried chicken, that I had always wished to taste since watching Jinny's kitchen. There was no BTS music, so I told the Pinoy manager that he should add some BTS music as his background music and he said he will. My fave K-drama are: 1, The Moon that Embraces the Sun 2. Descendants of the Sun 3, Dongyi 4. Signal 5. Tunnel 6. Jumong 7. The Familiar Wife I'm watching right now: 1. The Good Bad Mother 2. Meant to Be 3. Apple of My Eye 4. Woman in a Veil 5. Attorney" A Morality... Above is a picture of the Korean fried chicken and tteokbokki we ate. I cleaned up my plate.

@Jenaisle The food looks very tasty. And it is answered since you cleaned up the plate. Anyway, your granddaughter looks so lovely. I've only watched the DOTS, and it's also my favourite.
