Do you think sustenance is fate or choice?

Hello guys, good morning. Have a nice day. Today I will wrote about the concept of sustenance. I often see people who continue to work hard throughout their lives, but they are still poor and don't have much money. Conversely there are people who work a little hard, but he easily earns a lot of money and be a rich. Then I also see even someone who is not trying to make a living, because he is sleeping or relaxing at home with his family, but suddenly someone comes to give him money/gifts/food. From there, I became more and more convinced that the concept of sustenance is destiny, not a choice. So, being rich or poor is beyond our power, it is God's will. But that doesn't mean we have to surrender because of destiny. We still have to work hard to pick up sustenance, while the results we leave to God. How about you, what do you think about it?

I don't think God's will is that we are rich OR poor. I think His will is that we work (if physically able) to earn money, spend our money wisely, and help others when we can. It perplexes me sometimes instead of being frugal with their money, people throw money at the lottery in hopes to get rich quick. Meanwhile, think of all the money they have wasted over the years doing that. They statistically have a better shot at being struck by lightning, then winning the lottery, but that doesn't stop them. And sure, it pays off for a few. But for millions more, it is a total waste. Basically, if we do what God wants us to do, He will provide for us, you are absolutely right. But we can't be irresponsible with what we have, and then expect God to do a magic act. He certainly CAN and HAS saved us from our folly, financial and otherwise. But we shouldn't expect it when we have been given a clear plan on how to live. And He will provide shelter and food if we live an honest life, including with our money. We may not like the shelter provided (I don't like where I live), but it IS shelter, and He did provide. Learning to live with what you have opens the door for bigger blessings to be sent our way. Good discussion.

I like your views. I strongly agree. I also wonder about people who are frugal on necessities but they enter the lottery. Even though many are bankrupt because of the lottery, they don't use their common sense.

I think both destiny and efforts play a role. I've been people who were born in a very poor family became very successful and rich. They studied hard and worked hard.

Hiya Meli I think rich and poor is fate that can be written by us also. If we are lazy and don't want to make any effort, then we will can't change our fate. I remember someone said to me that food is already served in the table but we must take the food by our effort and eat it by our handshake.

We must ask God for what we need. And we must work , but sometimes people just have the fortune of things falling into place for them. But if they don't work, they will fall into poverty eventually

Yes, that's right, we shouldn't give up on circumstances by reason of destiny. It still takes effort to earn sustenance.

Yes, that is enough to prove to me that sustenance is Fate.

I do not believe that God has anything to do with us being rich or poor. We have choices in life, we can do nothing for genetic health problems, but we can do a lot to have a better life.

Yeah...Someone can give money/gifts/food occasionally. But if he depend daily their destiny or Fate play their role.Only our choice or smart or hard work which will always pay
