My favourite dried fruit is apricot. I normally soak them in sugar syrup and enjoy them as they are hard to eat if not soaked. I have also tasted sun dried apricots which I use in making desserts. I found this image on the Net The flowers are stunning We do not have apricot trees where I live Presumably they need a cooler climate. Do apricot trees grow where you live? Image Credit"

I like dried apricots and eat them just as they are. YUM! Yes, apricots grow where I live.

Apricots are expensive. Since they grow where you live they could be cheaper

@allknowing Apricots are really cheap here. And even the dried apricots are soft and moist.

They need a cool climate and therefore they could be growing in the US

Yes, apricot trees are very common here in Switzerland, the flowers can be pure white but also pink. I buy dry apricots and I eat as they are, they are not hard, they are soft and moist, very good.

What I got online the flesh sticks to the seed and only if they soaked then the flesh comes out easily

@allknowing The dry apricots are sold seeded here, I buy those soft but dry, there are also some a lot more soft, but I do not like them.

The apricot trees are not grown here, too. They are from colder places. Here mango and papaya trees are common.

I love dried apricots as well, and fresh ones are divine! They don't generally grow in this country, but funnily enough there is a village near us that used to be known for its apricots! They grow well in France, and also Turkey is a big producer.
