Today is Jamaishasti in India. On these days the wives do shashti and offer puja on behalf of their children to mother Shasti. The son in laws are supposed to regard their father in laws and mother in laws and get their blessings for good marital life with their wives.

thanks DE my wife's mother is alive. She lost her father at an early age. I send few gifts online to my mother in law. She lives in Nagpur and i live in Calcutta. It is 1400 kilometers away.

@sathviksouvik Oh, I see... It's very sad when husbands/fathers pass away much too young. I'm glad your family remembers her on appropriate occasions.

@RubyHawk thanks Ruby and Jojo. There is no holiday on the occasion. I went to university. I send few gifts online to my mother in law as she stays in Nagpur 1400 km away. She also send me money I did puja.

thanks Ocean yes I send few gifts online to my mother in law who lives in Nagpur 1400 km away. She also send me money online. I did puja at my house involving my wife mother and two sons
