It seems it is taking May an awfully long time to draw to a close.I just want the summer to be over with so it can be September again, but May is a nice month here, June not so much, as it starts to get hot..especially in the later part of the month. What is the nicest month where you live? Friend and Jax are coming down today. We are supposed to have rain at some point, and I hope they arrive here before it happens. Friend is bringing a battery operated chainsaw and some other lawn, trimming items. We hope to get some cutting in before the rain. Have a good one!

Yes, I really think September is nice in most places. It is a bit on the hot side here, but the humidity is lower making it pleasant.

@LadyDuck Late September, early October are generally the nicest time of year around here. Actually, generally most of October is good. Sometimes it will get too warm or cold.

@snowy22315 The first two weeks of September can be still very warm, but only during the day, the nights are cool.

I am a fan of the brr months too, although I admit, at times it gets a bit too brrr. around here. This coming winter might not be good as there is now an El Nino weather pattern.

It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who prefers to skip summer. December, to me, is the nicest month in Oklahoma, but some would tell you March. Sure, some Decembers can be chilly, but two years ago on Christmas Day it was 72 degrees. I was wanting something along the lines of 60 degrees myself. I tend to get hot easily.

I think you get a variety of weather there, and lots of tornadoes unfortunately

Some years it can be like that here as well, but we won't have any really hot days until June. I think June 2 is the first day I will likely need the AC.

May is usually a nice month but this year not so much. I love the long days of summer but certainly not all the heat and humidity that comes with it.
Hope you get the outside stuff done before it rains. It's sunny and nice here this morning.
