I Spoke With My Son Chad, on The Phone

Early Thursday morning, my son Chad returned by call. It was his Birthday, but his plans were to finish up a building project for his sister&brother-in law.
Debbie and Mike live about four blocks from Chad and Kristine, in Greenville, Michigan. So, with the weather permitting, Chad will be working to finish up their new deck.
Chad's schedule is often determined by the weather. He schedules a few different jobs throughout the month. On stormy days, he works on the indoor projects that he's obligated to finish.
Once in a while, Chad takes a day off, to work on a building project at their own home.
We visited them a few months ago and their house is shaping up beautifully!

@LadyDuck Losing all his teeth at 51 years old, I felt bad about this! Yes, he had good dental care, but it couldn't prevent this from happening.

Chad will be getting fitted for her permanent dentures, very soon:) His gums have been swollen, but now they are a normal size.

I really don't know yet. Chad might help Jay with the plumbing, that's his specialty.

It's also delightful to hear that Chad occasionally takes a day off to focus on enhancing his own home. Balancing personal projects with professional ones is a testament to his passion and skill as a builder.

Chad previously worked hard at various building companies, for an hourly pay check. Eventually, he started his own business, which is rapidly growing. He also installs furnaces and AC units or does repairs on these appliances. Again, he worked for another business owner for over ten years, to obtain these skills.
