Good morning from the beach (Again)

Today I'm checking out and headed home. The fireworks last night were amazing. Started two minutes early, and lasted for about. ten minutes. George was a little underwhelmed , hoping it'd be longer, but poor advertising plays a role in it, too. If you're local, you know about it. If not, not so much. Not that I can complain.
I know Chilly will be happy to see us and cuddle with us, and after I get laundry going and him fed, I might lie down. I'm awake and pushing myself now, but I know I'll crash. I almost always do.

I'm glad you had a nice time on your staycation. I am sure Chilly will be glad you came back home.
Lately I have been dreaming of a vacation. Honestly, I need a break badly. But it is not to be, so I am just going to suck it up and behave myself and I will get over it, I'm sure. I will take a vacation by finding a book and reading on the patio, for a little while every day.
