This is just a random shot I took a few months ago when my son was experimenting with some candles. This football candle has a history - it was the candle we used on his first birthday!! It's amazing that it is still functional after 12 years!! I never realised that candles could last that long!

What a great momento to keep! I once had a basketball candle, but I have no idea where it went.

We had a bunch of football candles. We still have quite a few of them.

12 years! Wow! That is some record! That must be a really well made candle! Seems like our kids are of about the same age !

The older the better, they burn more slowly when they are aged.

Isn't that pretty special? That's a long time for candle to last.

It looks like a soccer ball. Great memories. Candles last a long, long time.

I thought they soften up and the wick doesn't work after a while.

I am also not aware that these can work for that long but I think these were kept properly so these are still of use
