Late night train watching / myLot

I had to drop off my wife and daughter at the railway station at 10 pm and it was one of those moments where you experience the bliss and chill of train watching - I used to love it as a child and that has never worn away. We had quite a few trains pass by or stop before our train came in. This was a moment when a metro train stopped at the adjacent platform and was then overtaken by a goods train that passed through without stopping. Nothing fabulous to write about, but lovely to just enjoy!!

Not just watching but a train ride too can be memorable as it happened to me when we took that Amtrak train from San Jose to Santa Barbarba We were booked till Oxnard but for some reason we had to wind up at Santa Barbara and take a bus

Where was that awful train derailment? I just saw the headline on an American website, just said “in India.” Hope and pray all of your family and friends aren’t affected!

I've so rarely ridden on a train as it isn't a common thing in Oklahoma. I've probably been on a train six times in my life, maybe seven.

I cross a railway track on my way to church. Sometimes we've been stuck watching trains for half an hour.
