Well,, I livened up my night last night by going to play Bunco. It was pretty entertaining. (although got boring after an hour or so.) Next time I will drink some wine.
The woman who hosted lived in a more upscale development here on the lake. Although she had a partner, she was single and had not lived there long. I was wondering how a single woman could afford such a place, I googled her and she had been employed in a very responsible job. Everyone would be impressed if I said what it was, but I better not for the sake of confidentiality. It must be an unwritten rule for Bunco that you must be female between 55 and 75, cuz that is who showed up to play...
lOf course, that it mostly the make up of these developments. Did you do anything fun or different last night?

Sounds like fun but sorry it was boring after an hour or so.

Anything good? Yes, we were there almost two, so the last hour was yawn...

Most of the women mom played Bunco with weren't all that friendly towards me probably cuz I was the youngest woman in the house and really had no clue what most of them were talking about. They'd have felt the same if one of them were in a room full of 30somethings.

I stayed up a bit later than usual last night. Pence was on CNN. He may want to be President, but he isn't someone who excites voters. Besides he is too conservative.

@LadyDuck Pence is a good man(although much too narrow minded), but nothing like Trump in personality. He isn't someone people can get excited about.

It was 7 something when I wrote that. Earlier than I normally get up. A wave of sleepiness hit me, and I went back to bed... I hate to do that, usually, once I'm up, I'm up, but I needed the sleep.

It sounds like you have women of a wise age ready to play. I'm trying to remember what I did last night, but all I can remember is calling my dad to ask him a question, and the first thing he said, even before I could speak, was "What's the score?" After I told him what he wanted to know, he was about to hang up before realizing I hadn't even gotten to answer the question I called to ask him!
