Bull Terriers are reportedly fierce but Rana proved otherwise

The Kennel Club did not give him a 'clean' certificate as one of his ears was black. We fell for this puppy and bought it straight away although we had heard so many stories about terriers being fierce. We named him Rana.
As is the case with any pup Rana gave us a lot of trouble and we almost decided to give him away but patience paid. We had the most wonderful ten and a half years with this beloved dog. I could write a book on him and the collage says it all His endearing ways with our pet cat is a testimony to the fact that it depends how one brings up their pets.

What a beautiful dog he was! I know it must have been policy, but how silly to disqualify him because of a black ear. And you’re right, they tell us bull terriers have behavioral problems, but we know that’s more on the people around them, and how they raise the dog. I am so glad you saw past that, and simply loved Rana. Thank you for sharing your pictures, and your memories. They made me cry.

Thank you He was such a cute dog. He refused to eat on his own and waited to be hand fed I can write a book on his friendship with the pet cat Kittie

They have now a bad reputation because many are grown for dogs fights. Bull Terrier dogs are usually good with people. Early socialization make them get along well with other animals. I think the first weeks are very hard, they are stubborn dogs.
