How to catch a rabbit?

We were having lunch at Shakey's last Friday and there was this claw machine.
Amari really started playing and on her first try she got herself a pink teddy bear. She was elated! And wanted to try one more time. I told her I wanted the yellow rabbit. I never really expected she'll be able to do it again but she did!
She didn't stop there. She wanted to get the purple dolphin for his older brother. And guess what? She got it.
Are you good at catching toys with the claw machine?

@toniganzon If you're interested, dad used to tell us kids you can catch a rabbit by sneaking up behind it, sprinkling salt on its tail and then grab it when it turns to lick the salt off...

I have done it few times and got what I wanted. But I am not able to do it again and again like Amari. She must be happy and proud.

@toniganzon Oh! Definitely luck is a big factor. I would miss many chances and then get lucky one time. But then one gift compensates for all the money that I put in trial chances

Definitely not free! I haven't seen a claw machine that's free my entire life.

I am absolutely horrible at catching prizes in claw machines. Looks like Amari has some mad grabbing skills.

That’s amazing that she got three things in a row. In my country, those machines are pure scams. No one, adult or child, is ever able to pick a stuffed animal with that claw. So either your country invests in the fair machines, or Amari is incredibly adapt at beating a scam! I’ll go with Amari being really good at it.

Several years ago, we got addicted to that and we would play almost everyday. We spent too much money but was able to get only one toy. And then we stopped.

Amari is a born expert at claw machines.

Indeed. I know how difficult it is as I've tried several times before but got nothing. Though there were some instances when I thought I almost got one.

Usually the claw machine is very hard to catch anything with. Amari did a good job.
