In the evening the cows return back to sheds

June 20, 2023 8:26pm CST
In countryside in Bengal at the time of dusk the domestic animals which graze on agricultural lands return back to the sheds. I saw many cows around the potato plantations and banana plantations. At twilight they returned back to the sheds. There were no owners around them. It is amazing.

You looked like you were enjoying singing in your video! The cows are good at sticking with a routine, aren't they?

I think all animals and birds do that.

there is a difference. in case of birds they settle in the trees. in case of cows they are left to graze way away from their shed. So they have to identify their shed and return back and there lies the intelligence. In darkness they can get misled. So they return before dusk
