Bring Back Yesterday

Do you ever feel like you would like to work in the present but imagine you’re in yesterday? Tough question isn’t it? Well, today after a long time of not listening to it I returned to an old online friend Offshore Music Radio. This radio brings back the music of the 1960s, 70s, and 80s and I don’t need more than that. I put it on the laptop and suddenly I am listening to ABBA, to songs I had long forgotten, and suddenly The Beatles were asking me to hold their hand. Just awesome as I work and write on my desktop I am returning to many happy yesterdays and such a pleasant experience to listen to. So for those of you who occasionally would like to step into yesterday while remaining in the present, I highly recommend taking a listen to this online station.
Morticia heard the music and chose to keep me company. As usual, she jumped onto the back of my PC chair and kept jiggling there. Then Sinatra started whistling Winchester Cathedral and there was silence. I had to go to the kitchen and I turned around to look. The music had put her right into dreamland with her head and paws hanging down content and happy to listen to Old Blue Eyes.
If I had anyone to ask me if I wanted to go somewhere the conversation would go as follows:
Hey, do you want to go out?
Sure, why not?
BTW what year is it?
I kid you not, it takes some time to return and even then I return with a smile from the songs of yesterday.

@RasmaSandra - I particularly like to listen to the old "summer songs". Those bring back the best memories.

Haha, right I miss the old days and imagine everyone has their time when they were young. Music was to their taste, but I would say everything after 90's world kind of went to real crap.

@crossbones27 absolutely right the 90s new music completely lost me, I was so happy when I went to Riga Latvia and heard them playing classic rock on the stations besides popular Latvian rock,

I always listen to the oldies station in the car. They used to play 60s and 70s. Now they play 70s and 80s. Not real happy about that. I will have to try Offshore Music Radio. Thanks and have a great day.

Thankfully, music is one interest that can withstand the test of time. There are still classic rock radio stations and oldies stations. Not many that I can find but one or two I like listening to. As with you, listening to those tunes brings a smile to my face and perhaps a bit of karaoke too.
