30 June - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a beautiful day. I have a nice breeze blowing in my patio door. It feels delightful. I'm thankful for so many things: my health, my apartment, my friends, physical and virtual, my family, food to eat, a bed to sleep in, and my relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm thankful for the wonderful day today. When I went down to the exercise class, one lady had called it off. It was her birthday, and she brought strawberry shortcake. Homemade. The strawberries were freshly picked, not from the store. So extra delicious. I'm thankful I have the notifications finished. It was so much fun seeing what you're doing in your world. I'm thankful for the phone call with my daughter. She lives in Texas which is in the middle of a heat wave. She's doing well. I also talked about birthday presents for the girls. Their birthdays are a week after mine. No toys. They have more than enough. So, instead, I'm getting them a gift certificate for The Thinkery, a children's museum. When I looked over the site, they will have so much fun. I also called to find out how to go about it. So, after payday, I will buy the gift certificates. I know it will be a good surprise for them. I'm including my grandson. His birthday is in August. Okay, that's my day. I'm going to spend the rest of it working on Guns of War and watching TV when I come to the end of my brain on it.
