Monday 3rd July 2023 CE The dawn of a new week. New beginnings. As I see from my window, the morning feels quite fresh. The Kids' summer vacations ended and they are off to school. Now we won't get good enough sleep on the weekdays. But well, that's part of life. There has been a break in the rains. Clouds come and go. The humid heat has taken over. It's a challenge when without AC and the temperature feels more than what it is. Hoping for more rains. In some time, I would be occupied with a lot of official work. So wishing you all a nice, new week. Share your week ahead plans.

I hope you had a good start to the week. I hope your children do well in the new school season. My plans are to work on my book and take part in the different things going on here.

It's a hot morning, humid. This afternoon we have to see my husband's doctor. Tomorrow or after tomorrow will be grocery shopping. When it's not too hot we will go for some walks through the pathways in the wood.

@LadyDuck Walk is very essential. I had another visit to the Grocery shop for some items. If the visits are too frequent and that too in hot and humid weather, it saps our energy and we aren't happy.

this week was the hottest day on record in the world. Keep splashing water on your face and fanning with a hat or fan. We just got some rain. I got wet but the cool rain cooled me off.

@db20747 It's worrying that each year the average world temperatures are rising.

Our kids have just started two weeks holiday. Now that I don't have children going to school, I find it hard to keep up with what they're doing, They must have four terms now with the longest break (6-7 weeks) over Christmas.

@JudyEv Many Asian countries have similar curriculum and way of Semesters. Europe, US and Australia follow different ways. While initially things were a follow up of the British Raj times, they are changing slowly. Yet sometimes change just by watching someone and not analysing it critically can be grievous. Wish you a nice week ahead.
