We were at an 'event' yesterday and there were plenty of food stalls and games with entertainment. My daughter loved the pink cotton candy - it's quite interesting looking at how it's made. I've never figured out how this works, but at the end of the day, as long as it tastes good, who cares!! I wonder who came up with this unique 'snack'

When I was a kid, I loved it a lot. Now, I find it too sweet.

That seems to be a common opinion here.

I used to love cotton candy as a child, until one day I got sick. I haven’t been able to eat cotton candy since.

Did the cotton candy make you sick? How did that happen?

@pitstop My theory was I was sick already, and the last straw was the cotton candy, which made me throw up (sorry for too much information). Since that was the last thing I ate, it just happened to ruin it for me.

I like cotton candy once in a blue moon and know how it's made. And you're right, it is interesting to watch it being made.

In Australia it's called fairy floss and I used to love it as a kid. Actually, I still do love it.

Our liking of sweet things sometimes comes down. I still love it. Maybe I'm still a child!!

A dentist, William Morrison, invented cotton candy in 1897. It's funny that he was a dentist and invented such a sugary treat. Enjoy your day.
