In general, you would have read or heard about animals who have to make some effort to get their food. Especially the carnivorous ones. What about an animal; a Sea carnivorous one who gets its meal almost delivered to its footsteps? Well, Wobbegong Shark which lives 9f the Coast of Australia (meaning a 'Shaggy Beard' in the Australian Aboriginal language). These are also called Carpet Sharks. Their laziness and motionless state makes creatures like Lobsters, smaller Sharks, Crabs etc to come near them and be preyed upon by it! Wow ! What a creature! What do you say? I don't think I've heard of these but they seem to have an easy life.

@JudyEv So next time you go to any coastal Australian region, don't try going too close to this Shark's habitat!!

I have read that those sharks are found in all oceans but are concentrated in the Indo-Pacific and Australian regions.

@LadyDuck Thanks for sharing this information. My younger child is even more interested in these animal tidbits.
