An enjoyable gig last night. But not without wrinkles.

We (Bearl Jam) played music at Bonehead's BBQ in Lafayette CA last night. It was a good time, and many people showed up. But there was a wrinkle: the new ownership "forgot" to tell me that the place did not have a new liquor license yet. We had to get our beer next door. We made a set list of over 30 songs and wound up playing about 20. That's pretty typical. We made $100 and were allowed $100 in free food and drink. Because there was no beer, we didn't use up our food budget. But I've been eating leftover BBQ and beans (oops. excuse me.) all day today. We also made close to $100 in tips. It's good to be appreciated. Today, I am relaxing. How has your Sunday been?

@allen0187 Eh, it's a play on Pearl Jam (I don't even know what their music sounds like). But our Fearless Leader is nicknamed Burl. So we were Burl Jam for a couple of years. I don't know why they decided to spell it "Bearl." Closer to "pearl"?
