Took the two littles for McDonalds

My grandsons told me yesterday they wanted mcnuggets from McDonalds yesterday and I obliged them. We had gone to the park where they have a army tank. The boys enjoy climbing around on it. We also went to the playground where they have totally redone it. Very nice play equipment and shredded tires for landings if you happen to fall.
So, the boys were tired out and they wanted something to eat so we loaded back into the van and went to McDonalds. They wanted Happy Meals for the toys and got a McDouble and medium fries. We ate at McDonalds instead of eating in the van or taking it home.
I have to say, McDonalds used to be something we did nearly every weekend but now, with the new prices, we are lucky to do that once a month. The prices are absurd. But I understand because prices in the grocery store are the same way.

The prices for any fast food place is expensive but sometimes you have to indulge the grandkids

Indulging the grandkids is my favorite part of being a grandma! Sometimes I think maybe I do a little too much indulging, but nahhh, no way.

Prices at the fast food restaurants are ridiculous, as are the prices at any restaurant. Have a great day.

I was just talking about how it's almost the same price in a store as it is at a restaurant. It's absolutely crazy.
