I skipped dinner last night.

We recently purchased a pack of malunggay pandesal (moringa flavored rolls) from a local bread shop called "Bread My Day." The price is about 4x the usual pandesal that you might get from a neighborhood bakery. No regrets though because these rolls are delicious and heavy in the belly.
I had 2 buns for a snack yesterday at around 4 p.m. I put slices of cheese in them and had some vegetarian chips on the side. I washed down everything with a cup of warm Milo. I was so full I could not afford to eat dinner anymore.
This morning I woke up at 3:15 a.m. and was still not feeling hungry.
I had my breakfast of corned beef and rice at around 6 a.m. I just had a small bowl because I didn't want to overexert my stomach. It's amazing how these bread rolls kept me full for over 12 hours. I've got 2 pieces left in the fridge. I'll have to check my Food Panda app later if Bread My Day delivers in my area. I would say I prefer them over the ones that Pan de Manila are selling.
Do you have a favorite local bread shop?

There isn't a local bread shop where I live. I can buy bread at the grocery store but that's all pre-packaged and doesn't taste like fresh bread. I have to drive about 80 km to buy fresh bread from a shop.
I'm glad you enjoyed it and hope you can get more when you want it.

@almostoveryou I used to bake my own bread rolls but haven't in several years. And yes, bread from the grocery is just fine.

Wow, if it kept you full for twelve hours, that is impressive. We have a place called Panera Bread, which is a restaurant, but they also have a bakery. I am in love with their Asiago cheese bread, and the freshly made sourdough soup bowls are excellent too. They make some of the most delicious bread.

@AmbiePam Thank you. I wasn't sure if my question was legit 'cause we don't usually see those soup bowls around here. But I do remember having onion soup in a big bread bowl and I liked it.

I've heard so many good things about Panera Bread. My friend in LA is crazy about it. Could I make onion soup with those sourdough soup bowls?

My main meal is lunch. I usually only have something small at dinner time.

I used to employ that kind of regimen. I try to eat small at dinnertime too.

We get bread from the supermarket too. Some are just as good as the artisanal bread.

It's always good to have lots of choices. I like breads that have herbs and grains in them.
