15 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day and a different kind of day.
I'm thankful I got the laundry done when I did it this morning. I went to bed late last night and didn't get up until 5:30. I had the laundry done by a quarter after seven. 
I'm thankful for the good night's sleep I got last night.
I'm thankful I got the notifications done early. I needed to leave shortly after I finished them.
I'm thankful I went to the Celebration of Life service for a dear friend at church. It wasn't your usual funeral service. This was a celebration. There were stories filled with laughter and love. Lots of love. And dancing. We all participated in the Macarena; it was so much fun. My friend was a hugger. When she hugged you, you melted in the love she gave in her hug. She was a fun-loving person who will be missed. But I know I will see her again when I get to heaven.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Guns of War before I left. It's coming along well.
Okay, that's my day. I finished the notifications again. Time to get off the computer and see what the weather will be like tomorrow. The sky is white with wildfire smoke.

You are welcome for reading. Since I was not on the computer yesterday I am thankful for not having to do anything on our Sabbath and can spend some time with my cat and reading.
I am sorry about your friend but glad you will see her again.

Thank you too and you are welcome. I love our Sabbath days and will like it even more with a porch again. Here since we did not have a porch I would sit out on our Sabbath morning and read and lately I have just stayed inside on our Sabbath Days.

What you describe truly does sound like a celebration of life.
I’m thankful I’m done with almost all of my Christmas shopping as of today. 
I stumbled upon so many great deals these past two months that the only people I have left to buy for are my dad and nephew, Hudson. That is practically nothing compared to what it was.
