Two young boys awarded by authorities for saving the life of a child in a pool

The Genesee County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) had the pleasure of rewarding 12 year old boy Noah and eight year old Weston who were in a swimming pool in an apartment complex in Fenton Michigan in June. The two boys rescued a seven year old boy who jumped into a swimming pool and he began to sink into the deep part of the pool since the child whose name is Griffin was not wearing a safety jacket sank to the bottom of the pool while the two kids were on the outside of the pool. The two kids did manage to get Griffin out of the swimming pool where Griffin's mother performed CPR until the paramedics arrived to take Griffin to a local hospital where he made a complete recovery. GCSO Sheriff Chris Swanson awarded Noah and Weston a packet of books and a $100 gift card for their act of heroism on Monday. Kids can be heroes too.
