Are you taking care of your health?

I remember reading about it that it's healthy to have boiled veggies with very less or no spices and only salt. A few years ago I cannot even imagine that because I just love spicy and fried food and that hasn't helped my health so I believe I need to reduce the spicy food intake and should try even Boiled food at times. Have you ever eaten Only Boiled Veggies?

Spicy food can be good for you, depending on what you are using to make it spicy. But boiling your vegetables takes away from the nutrients away from them. It doesn’t suddenly make them unhealthy, it just means you won’t be absorbing as many vitamins as you could be. Steaming vegetables is the best way to keep the nutrients in veggies. At least boiling is far better than frying.

I mean too much spicy with the help of all spices, Red chilly powder and green chillies. Yes this is the plan but don't know if I can keep with my promise lol

@Butterfingers Good news about green chili peppers as they are good for you! They increase your metabolism, help your digestive system, and have very few calories.

Sometimes I eat steamed veggies with a little butter and salt on them... but I like broccoli plain, too. I wouldn't eat any other veggies boiled with no spices, though. That sounds disgusting. My health isn't worth that!

It is not just the food one eats that ensures good health I cannot eat bland food and the spices I use will not harm me.

@Butterfingers yes but I don't eat all veggies. I only eat those that can be eaten fresh.

I don't like very spicy foods at any time but small amounts of some spices can be good for you.

You need to try, food without spice is not appetising. But healthwise too much spicy food is not good gor your well-being. So you need to choose to alternate between them.
