Power is out

K and I were up early today because she has a conference call at 7 am. I got up with her hoping to get some online work done. Six minutes ago, the power went out.
I checked the rig and found there was no power coming in through the electrical hookup. Having determined that I called the Ranger on call. He was still home and power was out at his place, too.
We still don't know why the power is out. Hopefully, it's an easy fix. We do have light thanks to the onboard battery and the fridge will stay cold because it switched over to gas automatically when the power went out. The ac will be out, though, until the land power comes back on.
Our plans for going out to breakfast with friends are on hold. We have no idea if the restaurant we planned to visit has power or not.
I hope your day started/is starting off well. What are your plans for Thursday?

There was a high-end EF2/low-end EF3 that hit Rocky Mount, NC yesterday. Don’t know how far you are from that, but the severe storms could have caused it.
Or a squirrel could have done a lemming impersonation and fried himself in a transformer.

@FourWalls Despite the fact that their insurance will cover 100% of their costs for lost merchandise and building repairs.

Oh, I hope the electricity came back on for you quickly. It's too hot outside to go without A/C!
I had to be at the allergist's office in Springfield at 7 am. It sucks driving through rush-hour traffic when I shouldn't have to. It was my six-month checkup. Nothing new happened and I think the doctor was just as annoyed at being awake that early, too.
He wants to see me again in six months. I made the next appointment for 11 am instead of 7 am.
I hope your day has gone well.

The power was out for about 2 1/2 hours. A car wreck caused it. The road where the wreck happened is the main road to town from the campground. When we went shopping, we had to detour around a lake to a spot east of town and then drive back.

No power, no fun! I hope it comes back on before it gets hot. I would have gone out for breakfast anyway. You might come back to your power being on! You could always call first to see if they have power.

Well they about to do things here like pave ally but want to replace old sewer lines. At least you can pee and poop. Sucks when its 110 and have to walk when spurting.
